Songwriters in the Round--Workplay in Bham

A couple of weeks ago I went to a show at Workplay in Birmingham. It was probably one of my all-time favorite shows. There were four singer/songwriters there (all shown below) that took turns doing their songs. Throughout the show they would nod to one of the other guys (or some other subtle motion of the sort) and the guy would start singing harmony or playing harmonica or the tamborine along with whoever was currently singing. It was a great setup and fun to watch them just really loving what they were doing. I brought my camera along and had big plans for pictures. I got a little shy, though, so mostly just took some shots from where I was sitting. And here are the fruits of my labor:
Four incredibly talented musicians: (L to R): Drew Holcomb, Micah
Dalton, Jon Black and Sanders Bohlke.

Sanders Bohlke: He put a lot of heart and passion into his music.
His music will put a spot light on your heart to reveal what's really there.

Sanders and his keys. Jon Black--A Birmingham guy, and good friend of the bunch who

joined for this show. His stuff was reminiscent of Dylan.

Drew Holcomb, a mighty fine musician.

My personal favorite of the bunch: Micah Dalton

He got pretty excited when he got to play the tambourine.

This is classic Micah Dalton right here.
I love it!

So, I have this thing for guitars...
